Day To Day Travel Planning

Day 01 - Delhi to Mussoorie

On arrival at Delhi Airport/Railway Station. Then drive from Delhi to Mussoorie. Evening free for Lesuire. O/N hotel.

Day 02 - Mussoorie - Local

Visit Full day local sightseeing i.e. Kempty Fall, Mussoorie Lake, Camel’s Back Road, Gun Hill, Sir George Everest House, Children Lodge etc. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

Kempty Fall 15 kms from Mussoorie on the new road to Yamunotri. A bath in the pool at the foot of the falls is a must-do for tourists thronging the spot. Steps lead down to the pool around which tea stalls, shops, selling, towels, and, bathing, suits have come up.

Mussoorie Lake Mussoorie Lake is situated at 6km on Mussoorie-Dehradun road. It is a newly developed picnic spot build by City Board & Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority. The lake offers pedaled boating facilities along with offers fascinating view of Doon Valley and nearby villages.

Camel’s Back Road a 3-km road encircling the base of Gun Hill is also a good place to view the breathtaking Himalayan sunset. Named after a nearby rock formation that looks like a camel's back, a walk or pony ride along this road yields the sights of snow mountains.

Gun Hill a curious flat-topped hill is the second highest peak of Mussoorie. You can reach it on foot or on a pony by a bridle path from the Mall. Alternatively a 400 metre ropeway takes you up to the hilltop on a scintillating journey with great views. From the hilltop you get to see some of the more prominent peaks including Banderpunch, Srikanth, Pithwara and the Gangotri group. In colonial times, a gun placed on the summit used to fire at mid-day for locals to adjust their watches.

Childer's Lodge the highest point in the area. Reached by foot or on ponies, the summit offers great views of snow peaks.

Day 03 - Mussoorie to Corbett

After breakfast, drive to Corbett. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 04 - Corbett National Park

After breakfast, Visit Corbett National Park. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas is the majestic Corbett National Park . Home to a variety of flora and fauna, it is famous for its wild population of Tigers, Leopards and Elephants. Corbett national park was established in 1936,Corbett is India 's first and finest national park spread along the banks of the Ramganga River , in the foothills of the Himalayas . A well- protected wild habitat, Corbett provides an unforgettable experience to a nature lover and jeep and elephant safaris are the main attraction of the Corbett. O/N Hotel.

Day 05 - Corbett to Nainital

After breakfast check out form hotel & drive to Nainital. On arrival check in hotel. Enjoy Boat ride in Naini Lake, Zoo Eco-Cave Gardens, etc. Evening enjoy Mall road. O/N Hotel.

Day 06 - Nainital: (Lake Tour)

After breakfast drive for lake tour of Bhim Tal, Sat Tal, Naukuchia Tal. Drive back to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

Bhimtal situated at a distance of 22kms from Nainital, is named after one of the Pandav brothers called Bhim. The largest lake in the district of Nainital, Bhim Tal is 1701 metres by 265 metres, 265 metres longer than Naini Lake. The lake known for its magnificent majesty is situated at an altitude of 1371.6 metres above sea level. Bhim Tal has an island, to the north-east side, which is an exquisite gem in the middle of the lake. It is situated within the range of temple bells, which have been chiming for the last 300 years in the 17th century edifice, beneath the shadow of the towering mountain rushing precipitously down to the emerald green lake. The island is only 91.4 metres from the shore.

Sat Tal Sattal is a small town perched at a height of 1,375 mts above sea level situated in the lower Himalayas and a short drive of 22 km from Nainital. The town is decorated with thick dense forest of Oak and Pine Trees and there is a beautiful natural freshwater spring named Subhash Dhara arising out of dense Oak forest in the west and a lovely Lake from where the town derives its name. There are seven small lakes that connects with each other to form 'Sat Tal' which also means 'Seven Lakes' and till now, this phenomenon is still unexplained but the real thing is that it is beautiful and often compared with Westmoreland which was a former county in the Lake District that lies northwest of England.

Naukuchiyatal Naukuchaital has been stated as one of the best lake sites by many travellers and visitors. Sitting quietly at the foothills of Kumaon, it is at the altitude of 1,219 meters. A popular perception about this nine cornered lake is “A person who sees all the corners of this lake at one shot attains Nirvana’’ -a soulful state of bliss and eternity. It is believed that this lake originated by a naturally fed underwater spring under the hills of Kumaon valley. This place is famous for the mesmerizing beauty of terrain and green landscapes with different varieties of trees and shrubs, giving it a picture perfect look for nature lovers. Residing in the marvels of Kumaon, Naukuchaital has wide variety of wildlife and birds. Rare and captivating collection of butterflies can be found here with many other sites to relish the lake side calmness.

Day 07 - Nainital to Delhi drop

After breakfast check out form hotel & drive to Delhi Airport/Railway Station drop.
